We’re en route from Africa to Canada and finishing a few days in Amsterdam, where Justin Bieber recently made his now well-publicized comment in a guestbook at the Anne Frank House that he would hope Anne would have been a so-called belieber.
This is what Liz, all of nine, thinks about the controversy.
‘He’s trying to be funny. That’s his personality. If I were a pop star I would write something like that to make people laugh … the boy is innocent and people are taking it too seriously. Give him a break.’

But the Five of Us did visit the Anne Frank Museum earlier today. And we saw things more important than the museum’s guestbook.
